Plaza de la Constitución and the Old Town
Plaza de la Constitución is San Sebastian's old town square.
It was rebuilt after the city was laid siege and burnt down in 1813. Today the city's most important events are held here, including the Santo Tomás celebration and the Tamborrada drum parade. The numbers painted over the apartments marked the seating for the bullfights that were once held here. It's the perfect place to start wandering through the myriad of interesting streets in the old town.
