Sancti Spiriti University

Sanci Spiritus University in Oñati is a Renaissance monument and the first university in the Basque Country.

The University remained open from 1542 until 1901, offering degrees in Theology, Canons, Law and Medicine. The most striking feature is the main façade, which depicts the values and virtues of both pagan and Christian cultures.
