It's here to stay. This extreme sport is growing in popularity and has found the perfect partner in Gipuzkoa – nature, mountains, elevation gain, spectacular landscapes, and a penchant for anything that goes uphill.

In very little time the region has hosted competitions of international acclaim (Ultratrail EhunMilak, Zegama-Aizkorri mountain marathon and the Flysch Trail) and is even home to one of the two trail stations in all of Spain.
