Albaola

Located in Pasajes San Pedro, only a few kilometres from San Sebastian, Albaola is the Basque Maritime Factory.

Dedicates the majority of its activity to rebuilding, renovating and revitalising historical vessels, using hand-crafted maritime technology. To celebrate San Sebastian’s year as European Capital of Culture (2016), Albaola started building a replica of the San Juan whaler, the first 16 th century model of transatlantic cargo ship built in the Pasaia of 1563.
