Indietro Ekainberri

Ekainberri
Ekain is one of the best kept treasures in the Basque Country and one of the most important prehistoric sanctuaries in Europe.
Exceptional displays of cave art from the Palaeolithic era can be seen in the galleries. For decades the cave had to be protected from damage arising from a massive influx of visitors. In 2008 Zestoa Ekainberri, an exact replica of the original sanctuary, opened to the public.
